Introduction
In S/4 HANA Public Cloud, we exclusively work with Adobe Forms to handle standard or customized forms. To develop a customized form, it is necessary to customize it using Adobe LiveCycle Designer and apply some settings in the environment so that the form in question can be used. I bring an example with one of the most requested forms by clients: the dear DANFE.
Need
Customization and implementation of a customized DANFE form to meet the needs of the end user. S/4 HANA Public Cloud environment – release 2308
NOTE: It is important to emphasize that the settings must be made in the Customizing tenant.
1. Copying standard template and creating a custom one
Access the Output Management Form Template app.
You will find it by searching for Maintain Form Templates.
Search the “Predelivered Templates” tab for the standard form you would like to customize.
In this example, we will search for DANFE. After selecting, we will create the customized one via the copy button.

2. Downloading the custom template
The form will now be handled in “Custom Templates.” Select to download the form.

Download the form to your local machine
3. Editing the custom template
Open Adobe LiveCycle and import the template file
Make necessary modifications such as logo, layout, or binding. Save updates.

4. Uploading the updated custom template
Access the Output Management Form Template app (Maintain Form Template) again and upload the edited template file

5. Configuring rules – Form Printing
Access the CBC (Central Business Configuration) configuration environment
Associate the form for printing for a specific company
NOTE: It is important to emphasize that the “Number” column identifies the priority of the forms.
